The Opportunity:
The Laundry Aide performs laundry duties related to providing residents with laundry services. The role involves maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

What Is In It For You:

• Sort and separate laundry items based on laundering requirements.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, and sewing machines.
• Hand iron and fold or hang garments after laundering.
• Perform simple mending and repairs.
• Transport laundered garments to appropriate floors.
• Properly identify all personal clothing.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including dusting and washing equipment.
• Keep supplies like soap, bleach, fabric softener, and thread stocked.
• Clean the work area after each shift.

What You Will Need:

• Previous laundry experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic laundry techniques and practices.
• At least a Grade 12 education; diploma preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions.
