Our client a multi-trade contractor delivering projects across the commercial, industrial, water, and wastewater sectors . The head office is based in Waterloo, Ontario , with active job sites throughout the province.
This position includes a strong total rewards package, including flexible benefits, RRSP matching, and a gym membership , and are currently seeking full-time, licensed Millwrights to join our growing team. Candidates must be willing to travel to project sites across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Detect and diagnose equipment irregularities and malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective machine components and assemblies
- Fabricate required parts during equipment overhauls
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on :
- Pumps (centrifugal, submersible, progressive cavity, etc.)
- Mixers and gearboxes
- Perform SMAW welding (all positions); welding experience is considered an asset
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards
Qualifications
Valid Industrial Millwright (433A) trade licenseStrong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with limited supervisionExperience in water and wastewater treatment plants is considered an assetWorking at heights experience is an asset (training provided if required)Working Conditions
