Job description

We are seeking an experienced Agile Transformation Senior Business Analyst to support a client in their critical digital transformation journey. This role involves leading the transition to Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, to improve service delivery, optimize operations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will provide coaching and mentoring, facilitate training workshops, and ensure effective backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in facilitating Agile transformations for public sector clients, with experience in leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI for reporting and tracking. A minimum of three years of Agile coaching experience and relevant Agile certifications are required. Responsibilities

  • Agile Framework Implementation : Assist in selecting and implementing Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe. Guide teams through backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Coaching and Mentoring : Provide hands-on coaching to teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leadership. Develop and deliver customized training and workshops on Agile principles, frameworks, and roles.
  • Process Optimization : Assess and improve existing workflows, leveraging tools like Power Automate and Power Platform to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Strategic Planning : Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and other tools to improve work processes and reporting. Develop a strategic roadmap for Power Platform adoption.
  • Documentation and Reporting : Document all development processes, workflows, and solutions. Prepare regular progress reports and updates for stakeholders, and deliver a final report with recommendations for sustaining Agile practices.
  • Performance Measurement : Establish metrics to measure team performance, project progress, and Agile maturity, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Database Configuration : Evaluate and recommend changes to current database configurations to optimize system performance and align with Agile practices.
  • Power BI Integration : Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for data analysis and project tracking.
  • Process Improvement : Identify and address organizational barriers to Agile adoption, recommending strategies to improve transparency and value delivery.
  • Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement : Lead sessions for information gathering and ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Agile coaching, specifically in organizations with similar complexity (e.g., those with multiple partnerships and program agreements).
  • Experience facilitating at least two Agile transformations for public sector clients, with a focus on Scrum methodology.
  • Proven track record in leading stakeholder engagement sessions for information gathering and aligning with business goals.

    oAgilePM Foundation

    oCertified SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)

    oCertified ScrumMaster (CSM)

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, etc.) in an Agile environment to enhance reporting, project tracking, and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with databases such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and Oracle DBMS, along with programming languages like C# and JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the ability to implement and adapt them to specific team and project needs.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training and workshops tailored to Agile principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to document processes, prepare reports, and present to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in process optimization, particularly in leveraging automation tools to improve workflows and organizational efficiency.
  • Ability to assess Agile maturity and recommend actionable improvements based on performance metrics.
