Your Opportunity

As an IT Compliance Analyst, you’ll play a key role in keeping our systems audit-ready by coordinating documentation, managing recurring control tasks, and supporting ISO / IEC 20000 and IT General Controls (ITGC) processes. You’ll work in a well-defined, collaborative environment alongside experienced compliance professionals - gaining hands-on exposure to how enterprise IT compliance works in practice. Your Key Responsibilities
Coordinate user access review cycles by managing schedules, sending follow-up reminders, tracking completion, and compiling evidence packages for senior compliance review.
Collect and organize documentation for recurring control activities — including change management and major incident reconciliations — ensuring completeness and consistency.
Generate standard system reports (e.g., ConfigSnapshot) using approved templates and set parameters, with no analysis or interpretation required.
Maintain compliance tracking systems and structured document libraries through consistent file labeling, data entry, and basic quality checks.
Prepare audit-ready documentation packages by verifying file formats, naming conventions, and completeness ahead of internal or external reviews.
Update compliance dashboards and activity logs with factual task status, key dates, and reference links.
Provide administrative support for compliance operations, including scheduling meetings, managing calendar milestones, and distributing procedural communications.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of documentation for format and completeness before escalating to senior staff.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Required :
Strong organizational and coordination skills — comfortable managing checklists, schedules, and multiple administrative workflows.
High attention to detail — especially when handling files, reviewing records, and logging data accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint — confident navigating folders, inputting data, and using basic templates.
Clear and professional communication — able to follow up with stakeholders and provide precise status updates.
Ability to follow structured procedures with minimal supervision — comfortable working within set guidelines.
Awareness of confidentiality and data handling best practices.
Preferred :
Familiarity with ITGCs (e.g., access, change, backups) and / or IT service management standards like ISO / IEC 20000 or ITIL.
Previous experience supporting compliance or audit-driven environments (e.g., SOX, ISO audits).
ITIL certification.
Education and Experience
Post-secondary education in business, administration, IT, or a related field is preferred.
1–2 years’ experience in roles involving administrative coordination, document management, or compliance support in structured or regulated settings.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
Pay Transparency : In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
