SUMMARY :

Financial leadership for the Operations Finance of Welded Tube of Canada; with facilities located in Canada and the U.S. Provides accurate and timely financial information and analysis that allows the Senior Controller to make effective and data-based decisions. Works directly with the Business Unit Operations team to develop annual budgets and financial plans, enhance corporate reporting, provide in-depth company-wide financial and product costing analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for maintenance of inventory costing and profitability analysis.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly Company financial statements and the month-end closing process
• Prepare monthly divisional financial results and analysis of variances to Management
• Assist in the formal annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the Division and review monthly plant forecasts for feasibility and reasonability
• Review local accounting records of the manufacturing sites to ensure accuracy in accordance with GAAP while ensuring consistent implementation of effective internal controls
• Work with external auditors in performing financial audits and implement recommendations
