Position Summary
The Electrical Coordinator will report to the Project Manager and work closely with the various Electrical and Commissioning project teams, providing assistance to our current and future Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant projects. NAC is currently seeking an Electrical Coordinator to join our Water Facility upgrade project in Brandon, MB. Individuals willing to relocate to Manitoba are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Assist with electrical coordination for all aspects of the project
- Incorporate addendums, RFI’s, CRX’s etc. into drawings and specifications as required
- Review of estimate and project scope to provide bill of material and project Equipment Control Logs
- Assist in project change management tasks such as reviewing scope change and prepare Bill of materials complete with costs
- Prepare electrical and commissioning schedule data for integration to overall project schedules
- Be knowledgeable in all facets of the electrical start up and commissioning activities (i.e. Scope, drawings, specifications, planning, expediting, resource scheduling)
- Support the projects' team with the creation of RFI’s and see the process through to completion
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude
- Prepare job status reports and other reports as required for reporting to senior management
- Obtain field experience for career growth by assisting trade superintendents and project management in the project field, as required
- Knowledge and understanding of NAC’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures as per the roles and responsibilities within the HSE Manual
