Fire Sprinkler Technician
We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing Wet, Dry, and Pre-Action fire sprinkler systems, as well as fire pump systems. This role requires a solid understanding of fire protection systems and applicable safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25 standards.
- Diagnose system deficiencies, troubleshoot issues, and complete necessary repairs or component replacements.
- Conduct annual cross-connection device testing and carry out required repairs.
- Service fire pumps and standpipe systems as required.
- Respond to after-hours service calls when necessary.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports using company software and ensure compliance documentation is completed.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and standpipes.In-depth understanding of NFPA standards and local fire codes.Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.Proficiency with computers and inspection reporting software.Experience & Certification
Minimum of 5 years' experience in sprinkler fitting (required).Valid Sprinkler System Installer License (required).Benefits
