Responsibilities
- Work independently and within a team environment to support client service staff in producing high‑quality deliverables.
- Provide billing support using various Grant Thornton systems in accordance with the terms of the engagement letter.
- Manage electronic and paper‑based client files and compile tax returns.
- Format and assemble printed and electronic financial statements in compliance with Firm standards, ensuring a high level of attention to detail, proofreading, and timely delivery.
- Prepare letters and reports using firm templates in compliance with Firm standards.
- Proof‑read, review for quality, and verify content before finalizing any client deliverables.
- Prepare hard files for clients based on requests from the external client service team and new client setup processes.
- Enter and maintain records in paper and electronic files in accordance with document retention and destruction policies.
- E‑file and scan documents, embedding them in electronic files.
- Participate in training and stay current with GT software.
- Assist in preparing and submitting time and expense reports for supported partners.
- Organize information and maintain a database for marketing purposes using contact relationship management software.
- Plan and coordinate cost‑effective domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries for individuals and groups.
- Enter and maintain client data using Microsoft Dynamics 365 software.
- Perform general administrative duties including reception, filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
Qualifications
Strong word processing skills.2 to 4 years of administrative experience.Excellent data entry skills, high attention to detail, and aptitude for proofreading.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi‑task and prioritize.Exceptional client‑service mindset.Computer savvy – ability to learn and troubleshoot various programs.Knowledge of CaseWare and / or Keystone and experience in financial statement preparation is an asset.Ability to work effectively under pressure.Takes initiative, works independently, and follows direction.Keen attention to detail, efficient and accurate.Benefits & Compensation
Base salary ranges from $45,000 to $48,000 in Kelowna. Additional benefits include profit sharing, flex days, RRSP contributions, firm‑wide holiday closure, wellness benefits, concierge‑like benefits, and the opportunity to work from anywhere in Canada for four weeks each summer.
