Job Title : Implementation Engineer

Location : Ottawa or Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Currently fully remote)

Role Overview : We are seeking a proactive and skilled Implementation Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to work directly with our partners, ensuring their successful implementation and launch of fintech applications on the Cybrid Platform.

The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for understanding the technical requirements of our customers, developing the necessary stages, meetings, and documentation for a successful launch, and addressing key challenges throughout the process.

This role requires a strong understanding of software development, project management, and the ability to provide solutions for challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Implementation and Launch :

  • Work closely with customers who have signed contracts to ensure a successful launch to production.
  • Develop and manage the stages, meetings, and documentation necessary for customers to launch their fintech applications on the Cybrid Platform.

Technical Integration :

  • Understand the technical requirements of the customer and the product they want to launch.
  • Provide sample code, demo applications, and scripts to demonstrate implementation solutions.
  • Assist with technical integration, including API usage, data mapping, and system configuration.

Challenge Resolution :

  • Identify and address key challenges at each stage of the implementation process.
  • Develop and maintain tools and documentation that enable customers to self-serve their requests.
  • Develop solutions and strategies to overcome challenges, including those outside of Cybrid's control.

Customer Training and Support :

  • Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for partners to ensure they are well-equipped to use the Cybrid Platform effectively.
  • Provide detailed feedback to the product team based on partner experiences to drive continuous improvement of the Cybrid Platform.

Monitoring and Reporting :

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including the number (or percentage) of customers who successfully launch and the time it takes to go from contract signing to launch.
  • Ensure effective communication with customers about issue resolution and implementation progress.

Technical Skills :

  • API Integration : Proficiency in using and integrating APIs; ability to create and manage API documentation.
  • Software Development : Basic coding skills to write sample code, demo applications, and scripts; familiarity with programming languages such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Data Handling : Experience with data mapping and transformation; ability to work with databases and data management systems.

Project Management Skills :

Implementation Planning : Ability to develop and manage stages, meetings, and documentation for implementation projects;

strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Timeline Management : Ability to set and manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.

Problem-Solving Skills :

  • Challenge Identification and Resolution : Ability to identify key challenges at each stage of implementation; development of solutions and strategies to overcome these challenges, including those outside Cybrid's control.
  • Creative Solutions : Ability to provide innovative solutions to technical and non-technical challenges; experience in unblocking customers with limited resources.

Communication Skills :

  • Customer Interaction : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Training and Support : Experience in conducting technical workshops and training sessions; ability to create comprehensive training materials and resources.

Analytical Skills :

Data Analysis : Ability to monitor and report on key performance indicators such as launch success rate and time to launch;

use of data to drive continuous improvement in the implementation process.

Customer Advocacy : Strong customer-focused mindset; ability to advocate for customers in internal meetings and strategy sessions.

Adaptability and Self-Motivation :

Preferred Skills :

Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with the fintech industry and cryptocurrency markets; understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in fintech.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an implementation engineering or similar role, preferably within the fintech or SaaS industry.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly with APIs, databases, and cloud services.
  • Basic software development skills to write sample code, demo applications, and scripts.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand and translate partner requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the fintech industry and cryptocurrency markets is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, self-sufficient, and able to own the role.
