Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure programs/services meet community needs and align with organizational goals.
  • Assist in the deployment of resources (staff, volunteers, health equipment etc.) for program/service delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of training for staff and volunteers involved in program/service delivery.
  • Prepare regular program reports and assist with data collection for assessments and program/service evaluations.
  • Contribute to the development of new program/service strategies and solutions to improve service delivery.
  • Work with local partners, volunteers, and staff to implement program activities.
  • Coordinate the logistics of materials, supplies, and equipment for program activities.
  • Assist in resource management, including tracking budgets, procurement needs, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1‑3 years’ experience and a 1‑2 year post‑secondary certification/diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint is required.
  • Ability to manage program schedules and timelines; prioritize tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues, by applying standard procedures and functional or organizational knowledge.
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion, empathy and understanding for individuals with differing cognitive and physical abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the business environment or client requirements.

Working Conditions

  • Eligibility to work in Canada: Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada (citizen or permanent resident). If you are not a citizen or permanent resident, please review your visa to confirm eligibility.
  • If selected, you will need to complete a pre‑employment screening process which includes a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (E‑PIC).
  • Driver’s Abstract required for this role.
  • As we work with and support people (managers, colleagues, beneficiaries/customers, volunteers, donors and external partners) and communities in Canada and around the world, applicants whose first language is not English may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role in English.
