Insight Global is seeking a Scheduler to join one of Alberta’s leading utility companies on a 1 year hybrid contract, with a strong possibility of a 2-year extension. The role involves creating, updating and coordinating project schedules utilizing Primavera and supporting a team of Project Managers in the delivery of projects from inception through to closeout. Responsibilities include :
- Schedule creation, monitoring, updating and distribution
- Consulting with project manager and technical experts to set up assignment, tasks and subtasks
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system
- Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Monitoring project timelines and deadlines
- Identifying potential schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner
- Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports
- Accommodating changes to project schedules
Required Skills and Experience :
Strong knowledge of Primavera P65+ years' of scheduling and planning experienceProficiency with Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environmentExcellent interpersonal and team skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work effectively with all levels of management and employeesWillingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledgePlusses :
