Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote desktop support to facilitate the upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 across a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Deliver desktop technical support services, including maintenance, repair, upgrades, installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of desktop computers, laptops, tablets, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the upgrade process, including installation, compatibility, and functionality challenges.
  • Perform on-site evaluations to verify issues, identify problems, conduct research, implement resolutions, and ensure follow-up for complete issue resolution.
  • Assist with software installation, configuration, and optimization to ensure a seamless transition for end users.
  • Utilize ITSM ticketing tools to log, track, and resolve incident tickets and tasks, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, providing detailed follow-up instructions to reduce recurring issues and minimize overall support calls.
  • Offer technical advice and guidance to end users and facilitate the distribution of new IT assets (e.g., laptops, tablets, monitors, printers) based on client requirements and operational needs.
  • Perform asset management tasks, including updating records for devices upgraded to Windows 11.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in an IT enterprise environment, providing technical support to a large user base.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, including their features and functions.
  • Strong background in desktop support, including troubleshooting, installation, and system maintenance.
  • Familiarity with ITSM ticketing tools to track and manage incidents through to resolution.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to effectively assist end users in resolving technical issues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
