Our client is a growing international freight forwarding company based in Montreal (Dorval) looking for a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to join their team to handle mostly air shipments and transborder loads.

Salary is around 55k-60k, depending on experience

Responsibilities

Daily management and coordination of air shipments

Establish and coordinate schedules with carriers and tender shipments to the airlines

Provide and track quotations of services to our customers

Advise clients on transportation and payment methods, including the issuance of freight bills and invoices to brokers and / or customer. Including proper record retention and filing of documentation

Filing of invoices, orders, PODs, and collect payments for the same

Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines and / or bonded facilities

Prompt and accurate communication with customers and carriers

Various other duties as may be required

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in Air imports / exports

Fluent in English (spoken and written), French an asset.

Knowledge of North American Carrier Network and cross-border shipping requirements an asset.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Experience with CargoWise is considered an asset.

Strong organization skills, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and analytical skills.
