Base pay range

CA$90,000.00 / yr - CA$140,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

As the Purchasing Manager for Equipment & Smallware, you will sustain active supplier relationships to maintain a reliable source of supply, while building internal customer relationships through working closely with the operations personnel to help meet project requirements.

Researches and identifies purchasing opportunities to ensure that the lowest total cost of ownership is achieved for Freshslice.

Maintains relationships with existing suppliers to ensure that they are committed to supporting our long-term needs.

Able to project in a friendly, open manner and communicate well with management, co-workers, internal customers, suppliers, and client representatives.

Adaptable to changing environments and rapid pace.

Able to work well under pressure on several tasks with imposing deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and best practices.

Asset to have experience importing goods from China.

Fluency in Mandarin is an asset
