Job Title: Order Desk Clerk

Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: Temporary, Full Time
Salary: $$


Responsibilities:
  • Assist all customers quickly and professionally providing exemplary customer service
  • Key/process customer orders received via phone, email, fax or in person, providing customer follow up as required to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded
  • Actively participate and engage in on-going product knowledge training sessions
  • Ensure accurate billing and balance the daily transactions
  • Ordering replenishment product as required
  • Various clerical tasks
  • Maintain merchandising and stock shelves
  • General housekeeping
  • Pick/fill orders as required
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum – years of order desk experience working in the food/ manufacturing industry
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills, problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, flexible and highly motivated with a strong work ethic and effective time-management and organizational skills, multitasking
  • Time management skills, able to prioritize, capable of working under pressure
  • Professional appearance with a drive for creating an exceptional customer experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with other team members and maintain a positive work environment
  • Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Punctual and dependable
