Job Summary :

Mount Washington Alpine Resort is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will assist in managing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring excellent customer service, high standards of food quality, and operational efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a memorable guest experience at our beautiful alpine resort.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Management : Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, cafes, and catering services.
  • Staff Supervision : Lead, train, and motivate the food and beverage team to deliver exceptional service. Assist in scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing training and development.
  • Customer Service : Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and promptly addressing guest concerns or complaints.
  • Financial Management : Support the Food and Beverage Manager in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. Assist in analyzing sales and revenue data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements.
  • Event Coordination : Assist in planning and executing special events, functions, and banquets, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance : Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service throughout all food and beverage outlets.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Education : A diploma or degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills : Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with POS systems.

  • Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of food and beverage operations, including knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Personal Attributes : A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
