Randstad is seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Plate Fitter to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the fabrication and installation of steel plate structures.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work on challenging and rewarding projects.

Pay Rate : $36.60 / hr Starting Rate with $1 / hour premium for afternoon shift

Weekend shift - Saturday & Sundays 6AM-6PM

36.60 / hour plus $3 / hour weekend premium

Evening shift work schedule : Monday to Thursday, 3 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 AM with potential overtime on Fridays

Day shift work schedule : Monday to Friday 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM with potential for overtime

Weekend shift : Saturday & Sunday ^ : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM

Responsibilities

Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Measuring, cutting, and shaping steel plates.

Welding and assembling steel plate components.

Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Working effectively as part of a team.

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

Experience as a Structural Steel Plate Fitter

Previous steel plate fitting work experience 3-5 years

Skilled in the use of Oxy / Fuel torches for cutting steel.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Ability to read a tape measure in both metric and imperial.

Organization skills and the ability to be flexible in managing changing priorities.
