Job Title : Data Engineer /  Python Developer

Contract Duration : 12 Months

Work Type : Remote

Job Description :

  • Our client is seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with experience in implementing machine learning models in AWS SageMaker.
  • This role involves developing and deploying Python-based models, working with cloud infrastructure, and ensuring data pipelines run efficiently and effectively within AWS services.
  • The Data Engineer will be comfortable working in a cloud-native environment, specifically leveraging AWS services like Redshift, S3, and SageMaker to create and maintain scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and implement Python-based models in AWS SageMaker.
  • Deploy and manage machine learning models and data pipelines in a cloud environment.
  • Work with AWS Redshift, S3, and other AWS services for efficient data storage and processing.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and other technical teams to integrate models and improve performance.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize model performance in a cloud-based environment.
  • Contribute to maintaining code quality, documentation, and version control.

    • Required Experience and Skills :

  • Proven experience implementing Python models within AWS SageMaker.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift and S3 for data storage and analytics.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience in implementing credit risk models.
  • Familiarity with AWS Glue for ETL processes and data integration.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
  • Experience with data engineering tools, platforms, and approaches.
  • Understanding of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for secure and efficient infrastructure management.
