YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS CONTROLLER :
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely financial reporting.Manage daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, payroll, fixed assets, and other financial functions.Execute special financial projects as assigned by senior management.Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.Lead the year-end financial reporting process and coordinate with external accountants for reviews.Analyze financial performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.Oversee and provide leadership to accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Continuously review and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Provide assistance to Sales, Distribution, Production, and Order Desk teams.Collaborate with external stakeholders, including banks, other accounting firms, legal team, insurance provider, and external IT service provider.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A CONTROLLER :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting designation (CPA) is a plus.10+ years proven experience in full-cycle accounting.Experience in preparing financial statements and year-end working papers.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Leadership experience is a plus.Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Ability to handle confidential information and manage sensitive financial data with discretion.
