Technical Sales Representative – Industrial B2B (Custom Solutions)

Join a well-established manufacturing company in the industrial sector, specializing in the design and production of custom technical solutions based on polymer materials.
As a B2B Technical Sales Representative, you will play a key role in developing new markets and industrial accounts while managing complex, long sales cycles. You will be involved from the initial client needs analysis through to final delivery, working closely with engineering, design, and production teams.
This position is ideal for a professional focused on selling customized solutions (custom products), comfortable in a manufacturing environment, able to understand technical challenges, manage client projects, and build long-term business relationships. The role is based in Vaudreuil within an industrial B2B context, serving local, North American, and international clients. Bilingualism is required.

Responsibilities :
Develop new markets and client accounts in an industrial B2B environment, with a strong focus on selling custom-made solutions.Identify, qualify, and approach clients with specific technical needs requiring customized design (custom products).Manage complex, long sales cycles (average of 9 to 12 months), from needs identification to final delivery.Gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ technical and operational challenges in order to propose adapted solutions, in close collaboration with internal teams (engineering, design, production).Actively participate in technical discussions with clients, including specification definition, product development follow-up, testing, adjustments, and validations.Coordinate client projects throughout the entire process : design, prototyping, testing, production, and market launch.Conduct structured prospecting activities (cold outreach, networking, CRM) to build and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline.Prepare and follow up on quotes, tenders, and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams.Ensure rigorous opportunity tracking in the CRM and maintain constant communication with clients.Occasionally travel to client sites (mainly local or regional), within a limited and targeted travel context.Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and the long-term success of projects.What you will need to succeed :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent training.5 to 10 years of experience in industrial sales, with a strong focus on active prospecting.Bilingual in English and French to communicate with clients and internal or external partners in both languages, depending on business and technical contexts.Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office software.Strong communication skills, autonomy, and perseverance.Experience selling customized technical solutions (custom products) in a custom development and manufacturing environment.Knowledge of plastic processing methods (extrusion, molding, fabrication) – a strong asset.Why Recruit Action?
