Hybrid role - candidates must currently be located in the greater Toronto area with ability to travel to and attend regular weekly in-person meetings at client location in Mississauga

Exciting opportunity to join NielsenIQ's Retail Services Team as Senior Leader. This role will be part of the Retail Leadership team and will have responsibility to lead one of Canada's largest Retailers in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods space.

You lead a high-performance team to proactively exceed the client's needs while developing a strong team culture. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the broader NIQ Retail strategy.

This is a senior role which collaborates closely with the Retailers cross functional teams. The right team members will be one that can forge impactful partnerships and deliver essential business insights to our client.

Our goal is to lead as the foremost strategic advisor in the retail sector.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage relationships with Retail clients, ensuring strategic alignment and leveraging NielsenIQ's assets to enable Retailer to deliver Strategic Objectives.
  • Require Financial Accumen to build out 3-year plans, accurately forecast revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct effective contract negotiations for long term cooperation with Retailer
  • Provide strong leadership to teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize resource allocation for maximum client satisfaction, team development, and associate engagement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Commerce, Math or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Retail. Merchandising, Strategy, Analytic consulting, preferably in the CPG / Retail sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership and client engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with NielsenIQ products is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and teamwork skills.
  • Awareness of the changing dynamics in Retail and the impact technology, AI, and machine learning, Cloud etc are having.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in project management and organization.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and open to new ideas and ongoing learning opportunities.
  • Experience with Loyalty and Customer Data Analytics an asset
