Job Description
Our client within the nonprofit industry is seeking an HRBP to join their team in Ottawa, ON. As the HRBP, you will handle legislation issues, health & safety management, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition strategy and HR projects.

Responsibilities
- Act as strategic partner to managers and employees on HR-related issues
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and records to identify and address any compliance issues.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform effectively.
- Support HR projects, including policy development and implementation
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters
- Collaborate with the HR team on special projects to enhance HR processes
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Bilingual in French & English
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation
- Previous experience with Sharepoint & ADP Workday an asset
