We’re looking for a visionary Corporate Quality Manager to champion quality initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver exceptional results.

You’re an experienced leader in heavy civil construction, passionate about maintaining the highest standards in quality management. With a proactive and analytical approach, you thrive in dynamic environments and excel at balancing multiple priorities. Your ability to foster collaboration, provide mentorship, and implement innovative solutions sets you apart as a true leader in your field.

Your Role : Quality Leadership :

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive corporate quality management system aligned with industry standards.
  • Set and monitor company-wide quality objectives, ensuring alignment with project and organizational goals.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards, policies, and procedures that meet regulatory and project-specific requirements.

Project Collaboration :

  • Partner with project teams to create tailored quality control plans for each initiative.
  • Oversee quality control activities, including field and lab testing for soils, concrete, and materials.
  • Act as the primary liaison for quality-related matters between field teams, consultants, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Analyze quality metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for driving improvements.
  • Lead training and mentorship programs for field staff to strengthen adherence to quality processes.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep systems modern and effective.
  • Pre-Construction & Planning :

  • Participate in pre-construction planning and weekly project meetings to identify and mitigate potential quality risks.
  • Ensure timely documentation and resolution of non-conformance issues, implementing corrective measures effectively.
  • What You Bring :

  • A minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role in heavy civil construction quality management.
  • Deep knowledge of quality control processes, including soil and concrete testing methodologies.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing quality management systems, with familiarity in ISO Standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills for preparing technical reports, delivering presentations, and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, tracking systems, and reporting tools.
  • Certification in Quality Management or equivalent accreditation (an asset).
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites and remote locations as required.
