Role and Facility Information

The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to work full time or part time in Nanaimo.

Practice Sites

• Nanaimo Regional Hospital
• West Coast General Hospital
• Tofino General Hospital
• Oceanside Urgent Care
• Private imaging office

Core Responsibilities

Applicants will provide all facets of medical imaging services, including minor interventional procedures, breast imaging and screening, as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
• Preference for candidates with subspecialty training or significant clinical experience.
• Experience with breast imaging, including screening, is an asset.
• Comfortable with minor interventional procedures.
• Will consider a variety of specialty interests/training.
