The Health Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Director of Care and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.

Responsibilities

Assistance with personal care and hygiene
Meal Preparation
Light Housekeeping
Accompany clients on outings
Medication Assist/ Reminders/Administration
Ambulation assistance
Provide companionship to clients
Ability to follow care-plan
Documentation/Charting
Post Operative Care

Qualifications

Personal Support Worker Certificate/ Health Care Aide or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
Ability to travel to Fort Saskatchewan
Access to Internet/mobile phone
