Linux Administrator/Lead
Global Management Consulting industry leader has an immediate need for a Linux / Red Hat Administrator with current hands-on skills to join their growing, Montreal-based team in a full-time, hybrid role.
Hands-on experience building and supporting Linux servers in virtualized environments is required. This person will mentor a team and be involved with resolving P1 / P2 critical incidents.
Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite for patching and Ansible for running and making playbooks is required. Experience writing Linux scripts and strong analytical skills is key for success in this role.
Previous experience in the financial services or similarly regulated industry is preferred.
Required skills :
- Ansible for running and making playbooks / scripts.
- Red Hat Satellite experience for patching.
- Centrify for authentication of Linux devices via Windows AD.
- CyberArk Knowledge for Password.
- Tools Like METIS for Change & Incident Management, JIRA for project management.
- Hands-on Experience with Linux / Servers in virtualized environments
- Familiar with HPE & Oracle(SPARC) Hardware (Servers)
- Familiar with fundamentals of Linux / Solaris Scripts
- Experience with ITIL for incidents, changes, and requests.
- Proficient with network tools like iptables, LINUX IPVS, Solaris IPMP
- Experience with virtualization tools including Client Simplivity.
- Experience working with Centrify for adding users.
- CyberArk Tool; BMC TrueSight for monitoring RSA SOC tool knowledge
- Familiarity with METIS
- Knowledge of SAN / NAS Storage.
