Our well-established client is looking to bring on an Executive Assistant to support the President and CEO of their multifaceted, fast-paced business located in downtown Calgary.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, high-energy, and professional. They will have unwavering attention to detail along with exceptional communication skills.

Dealing with internal and external stake holders, this person will possess a strong sense of confidentiality and discretion. They will maintain a poised and polished demeanour, while remaining agile and flexible when dealing with both personal and business related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities :

The key job functions are :

  • Supporting the President and CEO with calendar management, meeting / presentation preparation, correspondence, expense reports and travel plans
  • Managing personal and private confidential information (documents, files, records) and contacts
  • Organizing board meetings and applicable documentation
  • Coordinating business and personal events
  • Assisting admin team when required
  • Other duties as needed

Education :

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field is preferred
  • Qualifications :

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Successfully complete a criminal and credit check
  • A track record of building positive relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience :

  • Minimum years of Executive Administrative Assistant experience is required
  • Skills :

  • Confident, poised, and professional
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Energetic and positive demeanour, takes pride in getting the job done
  • Exceptional relationship building skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in nature, able to shift and manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, able to anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Flourishes in a fast-paced environment
