Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :

• Working closely with Business Lead and Managers, Project Directors with a focus on civil design for linear infrastructure
• Coordinating all aspects of the civil design including being responsible for the design
• Developing or verifying the technical scope of a project
• Completing civil designs following the budget and schedule
• Participating in design coordination meetings and address critical issues
• Working closely with the engineering group to facilitate decision making related to the civil design,
• Ensuring the client’s requirements including specifications and standards are integrated into the project
• Ensuring quality controls processes are being followed
• Mentoring and develop junior staff
• Representing GHD at Client meetings when required

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, criteria along with the application of sound professional judgment. The ideal candidate will have a track record of design delivery for, multi discipline projects specifically, complex civil and facility projects
