Responsibilities
Design and coordinate the integration of AMR equipment for various material‑handling applications.Configure AMR fleet‑management software and commission hardware at customer facilities.Define mid‑ and top‑level behavior of AMRs, shaping overall system performance.Provide detailed equipment and acceptance testing specifications.Drive activities to ensure new equipment meets specifications and documented baseline performance.Act as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation on site, ensuring a successful transition to live operation.Collaborate on training programs for site users.Fluent in English; Chinese or French‑Canadian an advantage.Qualifications
Interest in applying high‑tech solutions in industrial environments.Strong understanding of automated handling tools, electronics, equipment function, test equipment, operation, maintenance and repair.Experience creating innovative designs for vehicle control, communication, safety, and power system schematics, and troubleshooting to component level.Hands‑on installation and commissioning of AMR or other mobile automation systems in a production environment.2–4 years experience with Autonomous Mobile Robot or other mobile automation (AGV) integration.PLC design (ladder logic, structured text) or similar control logic (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) a plus.Strong communication, teamwork, goal‑orientation, and structured work style.Special Skills
Risk assessment and mitigation per ANSI / RIA R15.06 : 2012, ISO 10218‑1 : 2011 and ISO 10218‑2 : 2011.Direct and coordinate manufacturing, installation, support, documentation, and testing activities to meet specifications, codes and customer requirements.Perform and supervise installation and commissioning, overseeing contractors and partners.Inspect completed installations to ensure conformance to design and operational and safety standards.Provide informal hands‑on training for users on site.Experience with Ethernet (EthernetIP, DeviceNet, ProfiNet, Profibus); wireless network experience a plus.Education & Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Ability to solve complex design and software problems and implement effective, cost‑efficient solutions.Proficiency in AutoCAD (E‑Plan a plus).Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, reasoning and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure with challenging individuals.Ability to manage personal schedule to accommodate work demands.Willingness to follow organizational software standards.Willingness to travel globally up to 25%.Equal Employment Opportunity

Pay Range
The base pay range for this role is estimated to be between $73,600-$92,000 CAD at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
