THE RENFREW COUNTY DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD

requires the following

TEMPORARY EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL

SCHOOL : Mackenzie Community School Deep River

FTE : 100% (35 hours per week)

TERM : This posting is for an existing temporary position effective immediately to February 12 2026 or the return of the incumbent

QUALIFICATIONS : A minimum two year community college diploma in the social services field (e.g. DSW CYW SSW) or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the Board. (Transcripts may be requested to support relevant course detail.)

Applicants must have a proven ability and willingness to perform the essential duties of an Educational Support Personnel including toileting diapering feeding lifting transferring positioning and providing assistance with mobility.

Other relevant training that would be an asset :

• Autism Spectrum Disorder Training
• Behaviour Management Systems (BMS)
• Lifting training
• WHMIS certification
• Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS)
• Prior experience using computer supports and adaptive / assistive technology is an asset

Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in the Collective Agreement for the Educational Support Personnel and the RCDSB Administrative Procedures. Positions will be filled by members of the Boards Educational Support Personnel bargaining unit BEFORE external applications are considered. The Board reserves the right not to fill a position.
