Oshawa Last-Mile E-Commerce Delivery Driver Owner-Operator

We have Immediate openings for Minivan, SUV and Car owner-operators for last-mile delivery in the GVA.

We have work every Monday - Saturday from the warehouse in North York.

This position requires you to have your own Car, SUV or Minivan.

You are driving your own vehicle so N licenses are acceptable.

Deliveries are in the GVA but in one zone each day, not all over the place. Typical km / day is 100-150 as the routes are dense.

Pickups are at 9-12 pm evening times. Shifts are available every day of the week for both part-time and full-time.

A typical day is 80-160 stops $150-$300 / day (or $175-$350 for Burlington, Hamilton, Kitchener, Guelph, Barrie, Windsor) .

Routes close to Station in the GVA (5-7.5 hours) pay less ($1.70 / stop) than routes further out, ($2 / stop, 7.5 - 9 hours) but closer routes get done quicker.

We can't guarantee a Finish time, because it will mostly be up to you since you are delivering! But as soon as you finish you can go home.

Returns you have 48 hours to redeliver or bring back to the warehouse.)

• That works out to $30-$40 per hour typically. 6-9 Hour days. Depending on your abilities and performance.
• Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
• Full-time and part-time positions are available. Preference would be given to good performers.
• Payout : Biweekly- Bank Transfer (No-Tax Deducted, full gross pay as a T4-A Contractor)
• Delivery area will be according to your current residential address mostly but could be different also If needed.
• Delivery Areas : North York, Etobicoke, Ajax, Oshawa, Pickering, Brampton, Mississauga, Downtown, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Kitchener, Guelph, Waterloo, Barrie, Windsor, Bradford, New Market.

Requirements :

• Safety Vest (Class 2), and Hard-toes Shoes / boots. (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road)
• Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season) We will check to ensure they are up to standards.
• Must provide a vehicle for the work . Car / Van / SUV / Minivan.
• Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
• Have a smartphone with a data plan.
• Relatively clean driver abstract.
• No DUI / DWI or suspensions within five previous years.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent English communication skills
