Échelle Salariale (sans S’y Limiter) : 59,300 - 72,500

We have an exciting new opportunity in claims for a Claims Adjuster I, Property .

As a Claims Adjuster I, Property , you will work with customers who have experienced a loss to their personal property and are navigating disruption, such as evacuation from homes during a wildfire, water damage, or theft. You will guide the customer through initial statements and opening the claim, then move it forward to the applicable adjuster to restore normalcy quickly and efficiently.

Please note : This role requires full‑time in‑office work during the first 6 months for training and initial performance.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) on policies, products, services, and initiatives
  • Focus on first call resolution, open new property claims, take full statements, confirm coverages, and move claims forward to expedit the process while delivering strong customer experience
  • Document files clearly to reflect conversations and actions taken on claims
  • Apply knowledge, problem solving, and on‑the‑spot decisions to move claims forward
  • Communicate via email, telephone, and text with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Initiate difficult conversations with empathy and clarity regarding policy, coverage, or operational challenges, and support colleagues
  • Meet daily call centre metrics while handling a high volume of inbound calls
  • Provide quality customer service, maintain low hold times, and document files clearly; perform other ad hoc duties
  • Execute multiple tasks with changing priorities and time‑sensitive deadlines
  • What You Bring To The Table

  • Previous adjusting and / or customer service experience is an asset
  • Empathy for customers and a genuine passion for supporting people through the claims process
  • Self‑motivated, resourceful, and resilient to independently overcome situations
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Flexibility to pivot as priorities change with claims volume
  • Excellent organizational skills, results‑oriented, and agility to adapt quickly
  • Effective multi‑tasking and time management
  • Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships
  • Comfort with using multiple computer screens and navigating multiple applications
  • Commitment to continuous learning

  • Flexibility to work 35 hours per week during business hours : Monday to Friday 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM, and statutory holidays
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Hours of Operation

  • Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays / Statutory Holidays
  • 8 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM MST
  • 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM PST
