Job description

WHO YOU ARE

Junior Property Managers are confident leaders with excellent communication skills. They can evaluate economic trends, profitability, and marketing issues. They work well under pressure, handle varied emergency situations, and troubleshoot operational and management problems unique to their assigned area.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Education & Experience :

Diploma / degree and related experience.Approximately 5 years of real estate experience.1-2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.Knowledge of building / property maintenance and relevant legislation.Proficiency with basic tools and computer skills.Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation is an asset.WHMIS certification and experience with Fire Life Safety & Building Inspections are assets.

Qualifications :

Excellent communication skills; ability to speak other languages is an asset.Commitment to "Best in Class" Customer Service.Professional demeanor with strong communication skills.High degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.Strong organizational and time management skills.Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive, goal-oriented attitude.Flexibility to work on-call on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends).Actively championing diversity, equity, and inclusion.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Customer Service :

Provide superior service and support to residents.Address resident issues and service requests promptly.Maintain high building standards and train staff on customer service.

Leasing :

Minimize vacancy and maintain 100% occupancy.Show suites, process applications, and enforce lease agreements.Implement marketing initiatives and related leasing functions.

Operations :

Manage buildings to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Conduct inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance.Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the complex.Handle after-hours emergencies and represent the company at hearings.

Management :

Directly manage on-site team members.Plan, assign, and direct work.Train staff on operational procedures and resolve work problems.Motivate workers to achieve goals.

Financial and Budgets :

Ensure accuracy of rent rolls.Review vacancies, leases, and rents to ensure market value.
