Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Synthetic Chemist specializing in Material Science, located in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC. The Synthetic Chemist will focus on designing and synthesizing innovative organic materials for electronic applications. Daily responsibilities include performing research and development, optimizing synthetic routes, participating in kilo lab synthetical scale-ups, and performing analytical evaluations to ensure product standards. The role also involves preparing technical reports, maintaining laboratory equipments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including synthesis, sample preparation, and safe lab practices
• Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating materials and interpreting analytical data
• Proven expertise in Research and Development (R&D)
• Background or understanding of Material Science, Organic Chemistry, or related fields
• At least a Master's degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with organic semiconductors, OPV, OLED, or related applications is a plus
• Kilo-lab scale-up experience is a plus
