Process Engineer

Our client is an industry leader with over 60 years of experience delivering high-quality packaged equipment, pressure vessels, and piping solutions for oil and gas production, heavy oil processing, and refinery operations. Supporting both domestic and international markets, the company operates a modern 84,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility in Calgary with a team of technical experts committed to quality and innovation.

Position Overview

Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to provide technical leadership and process engineering support across a variety of oil and gas projects. This role involves contributing to all project phases—from initial proposals and quotations through design, fabrication support, commissioning, final invoicing, and guarantee administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design optimized processes for dehydration, separation, metering, and pumping systems.
• Perform equipment and system sizing, including piping, pumps, heat exchangers, control valves, and pressure safety valves (PSVs).
• Use process simulation tools such as VMGSim or similar software (experience is an asset).
• Review and validate engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with project scope and technical requirements.
• Provide design support throughout fabrication and delivery, including drawing reviews and design modifications as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external engineering partners.
• Uphold all corporate policies, including the company's Safety Policy and Code of Ethics.
