Position Overview
Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to provide technical leadership and process engineering support across a variety of oil and gas projects. This role involves contributing to all project phases—from initial proposals and quotations through design, fabrication support, commissioning, final invoicing, and guarantee administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design optimized processes for dehydration, separation, metering, and pumping systems.
- Perform equipment and system sizing, including piping, pumps, heat exchangers, control valves, and pressure safety valves (PSVs).
- Use process simulation tools such as VMGSim or similar software (experience is an asset).
- Review and validate engineering deliverables, ensuring alignment with project scope and technical requirements.
- Provide design support throughout fabrication and delivery, including drawing reviews and design modifications as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external engineering partners.
- Uphold all corporate policies, including the company's Safety Policy and Code of Ethics.
Qualifications & Skills
Engineering degree or technical diploma (preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fabrication, EPC, or similar industrial environment.Manufacturing or shop‑floor experience is highly desirable.Experience with process simulation software (e.g., VMGSim or equivalent) is a strong asset.Familiarity with industry codes and standards including API‑520, API‑521, ASME B31.3, and ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code.Solid understanding of drafting, fabrication, and machine shop practices.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Why Join?
