Position Overview
We are seeking a Field Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves driving a company vehicle to various construction sites, promoting our safety products, and building strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to construction sites to promote and sell safety products.
- Conduct on-site product demonstrations and presentations to showcase Bunzl’s safety solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with site managers, supervisors, and decision-makers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate safety solutions tailored to each site.
- Ensure Bunzl’s high standards of customer service during every interaction.
- Attend regular sales meetings and collaborate with the Sales Manager to review progress.
- Contribute to team success by meeting individual and branch performance targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational guidelines while operating the company vehicle.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Post-secondary education preferred.1–2 years of industrial or field sales experience (construction or safety industry experience is an asset).Strong knowledge of the industrial sales market is highly desirable.Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.Strong communication skills (oral and written).Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with CRM systems is an asset.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Why Join Us?
