Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist (Non-Dispensing) to join our team at Sandstone Pharmacies Carry Drive in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Patient Focused Care Responsibilities
- Advance patient care beyond traditional dispensing, through collaborative drug therapy management and innovative clinical initiatives
- Review patient records to assess the appropriateness of medication therapy
- Identify health conditions that require attention and refer patients to the appropriate healthcare provider
- Provide expert consultation on medication dosages, substances, and administration
- Evaluate the effectiveness of pharmaceutical treatments and adjust as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of medication plans and patient progress
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
Qualifications
APA Certification requiredInjection certification is requiredLicensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of PharmacistFamiliarity with Alberta Pharmacy Professional Services FrameworkStrong attention to detail and manual dexterityStrong verbal and written English communication skills required, with comfort in frequent phone interactionsKey attributes include client focus, accuracy, dependability, initiative, strong interpersonal skills, organization, flexibility, and a collaborative team mindsetExcellent knowledge of pharmaceutical therapyFamiliarity with drug administration and health and safety proceduresDrug prescription software (Kroll preferred)Compensation & Benefits
