Job description

Shift : Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (6 : 00AM-2 : 30PM)

Status :  Regular - Part Time

Your Role :

  • Accountable for winter wrap procedure of product, with an emphasis on our Banana process’;
  • Perform inbound receiving functions including unloading / loading trailers, building and sorting product to and from pallets;
  • Move product to proper outbound holding locations for shipping;
  • Operate handheld scanners / computers;
  • Assist in warehouse / receiving duties as assigned; and
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Desired Skills & Experience :

  • Previous warehouse experience including shipping and receiving is required;
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently to complete responsibilities and consistently meet production requirements;
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and be able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently;
  • Able to complete physically demanding tasks;
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience with a forklift, high stacker, order picker and / or electric pallet jack is an asset. Must have willingness to train to receive appropriate certification for required use of powered equipment;
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team or independently;
  • Ready to learn other departmental tasks and assist when required; and
  • Flexibility to work unscheduled shifts when needed is considered an asset.
