Marketing Manager – Consumer Electronics Manufacturer
Our client, a leading Consumer Electronics Manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team immediately on a permanent full‑time basis. The successful candidate will lead the Marketing Department, including E‑commerce, Brand Marketing, and Design teams, reporting to the Managing Director. This position is based in Niagara, Ontario.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor E‑commerce, Brand Marketing, and Design teams, providing strategic direction.
- Align team objectives with corporate goals and share business rationale.
- Set annual department goals, manage budgets, and develop creative growth strategies.
- Identify skill gaps, support team development, and conduct performance reviews.
- Lead and oversee marketing objectives across sales and brand initiatives, using data‑driven insights to guide decisions.
- Develop, implement, and execute marketing plans for our brand portfolio.
- Serve as the brand expert, ensuring strategy alignment and supervising the creation of visual and written content across all channels.
- Support and scale established marketing strategies to align brand initiatives with business goals.
- Create and implement processes to coordinate responsibilities across E‑commerce, Design, and Brand Marketing teams.
- Manage major events, such as Black Friday, ensuring smooth collaboration and execution.
- Oversee all marketing content, including PR and influencer activities, and monitor e‑commerce initiatives.
- Negotiate and manage third‑party vendors to ensure quality and cost‑effective deliverables.
- Collaborate with R&D on product launch marketing efforts.
- Track, analyze, and optimize marketing performance to maximize impact.
- Lead digital campaigns across paid ads, email, and social media to boost visibility and revenue.
- Drive SEO, content marketing, and personalized strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Monitor KPIs and use data‑driven insights to optimize online performance and e‑commerce results.
- Undertake related duties as assigned to achieve the objectives and company goals.
Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Seven (7) years of experience in digital brand management, leading social media, PR, and content.
- Five (5) years of leadership experience.
- Proficiency in SEO and E‑commerce.
- Experience with Email Marketing and Google Analytics is desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
- Analytical and highly motivated self‑starter.
- Detail‑oriented problem solver.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced ever‑changing environment.
