Job Description : Metal Fabrication Labourer

Location : Toronto, ON

Employment Type : Full-Time

Salary : $20 to $21

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and hardworking Metal Fabrication Labourers to join their team.

This role involves assisting in the production, assembly, and finishing of metal products. The

ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in an

industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Load and unload raw materials, tools, and finished products.
  • Perform grinding, sanding, and other surface preparation tasks.
  • Conduct quality checks on fabricated products to meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow safety procedures and report any workplace hazards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in metal fabrication or related field is an asset.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in metalworking.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in industrial settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in welding or operating specialized fabrication equipment.
  • Knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Certification in a related trade or safety training (e.g., WHMIS).
