Join Our Team as a Car Wash Technician in Mount Pearl, NL

If you are looking for a dynamic organization, this is the opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for a Car Wash Technician (or dual focus with Petroleum Service) to join our team in Mount Pearl, NL.

The selected individual will be responsible for traveling to customer locations throughout Newfoundland to provide installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of car wash equipment, including coin-operated wash bays, rollovers, and full-sized tunnel car wash systems. A dual focus would include maintenance and servicing of petroleum dispensing equipment.

Suitable candidates will meet the following qualifications :

• Must be mechanically inclined with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting car wash equipment, electrical knowledge, and expertise are assets.
• Experience with mechanical repair of high-pressure pumps, hydraulics, and compressors is an asset.
• Previous mechanical or electrical experience, including certified tradespeople, is considered an asset.
• High energy, self-motivated, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to excel in a team setting when required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong customer service experience with the ability to multi-task.
• Minimum high school education; post-secondary education in electronics or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Willingness to travel and work on-call (rotation) and overtime.
• Training will be provided.
