Job description

Sales Representative – Nova Scotia

Manufacturing - Building Material

Great Base Salary + Excellent and Strong Commissions + paid Km + Benefit and RRSP

Our Client Our client is a leader in sustainable building materials, providing innovative, high-performance insulation solutions that help create healthier, more energy-efficient homes. With a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, they offer industry-leading products that are not only effective but also eco-friendly. Their team is dedicated to building long-term partnerships with contractors, distributors, and builders, ensuring quality and excellence in every project.

The Role As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding and managing a strong network of contractors, distributors, and buy groups across Nova Scotia. Your goal is to drive business growth by leveraging value over price, onboarding new installers, and fostering relationships with key industry players. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, providing technical support, coordinating training, and ensuring seamless product adoption.

This role requires someone who thrives in the field—spending time with prospects and existing customers, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with operations and marketing teams to enhance product offerings and continuously improve customer experiences. Expect a dynamic, hands-on environment where your ability to drive sales and deliver results will make a real impact.

The Candidate We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional with experience in the building materials industry. You’re a natural relationship builder who understands how to sell on value rather than just price. You have a strong technical acumen and are comfortable working directly with contractors, training installation crews, and speaking to both distributors and business owners.

Ideally, you have experience using CRM tools, a solid understanding of business development and financial decision-making, and the ability to analyze sales activities for continuous improvement. You’re adaptable, proactive, and eager to grow with a company that values sustainability and innovation. Bilingualism in French is an asset but not required.

What’s In It for You?

  • A competitive salary with performance-based incentives
  • The opportunity to work with an industry leader in sustainable building solutions
  • A dynamic, fast-paced role with the autonomy to grow your territory
  • Ongoing training, support, and career development opportunities
  • A collaborative, forward-thinking work environment where your ideas are valued
