Mandat :

Sous la responsabilité du vice-président des ventes, le directeur du développement commercial sera chargé de la prospection et de la conclusion de nouvelles affaires.

Le candidat sera également chargé de diriger et de motiver une équipe de professionnels du développement commercial afin d'établir de nouvelles relations avec les clients.

Dans ce rôle axé sur la clientèle, le candidat retenu gérera et présentera des solutions aux clients potentiels dans la région du Québec, principalement en ce qui concerne le courtage en douane, le fret aérien et maritime international et les services de transport terrestre en Amérique du Nord.

Autres responsabilités :

  • Mettre en œuvre des stratégies de vente pour attirer les clients et analyser les opportunités de croissance.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les principaux acheteurs au sein de l'organisation afin d'élaborer des solutions qui répondent aux objectifs de l'entreprise.
  • Atteindre ou dépasser les objectifs de vente trimestriels ou annuels.
  • Constituer et gérer des équipes et développer les talents des employés.

Exigences :

  • Baccalauréat (ou équivalent) en administration des affaires / commerce ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Au moins 5 ans dans un poste de chef ou de directeur des ventes
  • Sens aigu des affaires et expérience opérationnelle
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office et d'applications fonctionnant sous Windows
  • Une expérience préalable en vente dans l'environnement de transport de marchandises 3PL est un atout
  • Une expérience de la gestion de la relation client (CRM) de Salesforce est un atout
  • Le bilinguisme (anglais et français) est nécessaire

Mandate :

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Director of Business Development will be responsible for prospecting and winning new business.

The candidate will also be responsible for leading & motivating a team of Business Development professionals to gain new client relationships.

In this customer focused role, the successful candidate will manage and present solutions to prospects in the Quebec region, mainly including Customs Brokerage, International Air & Ocean Freight and North American Ground Transportation services.

Other Responsibilities :

  • Execute sales strategies to attract customers and analyze growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with key buying influences within the organization to develop solutions that meet company objectives.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly or annual sales goals.
  • Manage and build teams and develop employee talent.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration / Commerce or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales manager or director position
  • Solid business acumen and operations background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
  • Previous sales experience in the 3PL Freight Forwarding environment is considered an asset
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM is an asset
  • Bilingual (English and French) is required
