The role

We are seeking an empathetic, agile, and results-driven individual who can effectively partner with relevant departments to own and support the HR Operations and the Employee Experience at mobileLIVE.

As HR Specialist, you will drive the complete employee journey which may include stages in recruitment, onboarding, and engagement programs while developing and reinforcing the desired brand culture.

You will

  • Acts as the first point of contact for employees to manage day-to-day employee relations issues and advise management and staff regarding all areas of HR
  • Ensure smooth induction and orientation of the new incumbents, ensuring an exciting and memorable onboarding experience
  • Plan, attend and represent mobileLIVE at different academic and technology / IT related events to promote mobileLIVE Brand and attract talent
  • Share knowledge on effective practices, competitive intelligence, improvement opportunities, and transformational needs
  • Adhere to high ethical standards, have / maintain detailed knowledge of and comply with all regulations / applicable employment laws
  • Respond to and resolve employee concerns, provide career guidance to the staff, proactively communicate on the on-going HR and company initiatives
  • Conduct employee surveys including, but not limited to post onboarding survey, exit interview, pulse surveys, post-training feedback, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms and timely provide information gathered to the appropriate parties.
  • Take responsibility for aligning business objectives, employees, and management
  • Champion and role model our culture, brand mission, purpose, values, and philosophy
  • Work with HR team to provide support in compensation process review, performance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with payroll team to ensure weekly timesheet submissions, approvals and overtime calculations. Administer leaves, contract extensions, revisions to ensure payroll is aligned with changes
  • Administer Group Benefits Portal, Health & Wellness and EAP programs.
  • Responsible for conducting AODA training and ensuring Health & Safety awareness training completion of new hires
  • Prepare Employment agreement, consulting agreement and process necessary paperwork including backchecks to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Collects, analyze, and maintain data to measure the success of Employee engagement initiatives
  • Support HR team in process improvement projects, onboarding and offboarding, and high potential employee development necessary to increase organizational effectiveness
  • Provide a range of human resources support including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, HRIS data integrity and employee engagement.
  • Administer the employee appreciation tool to promote and automate the employee recognition program

Who you are

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably at a technology company
  • Proven experience in HR and employee relations
  • Must be highly organized, task-oriented, and have a strong team orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects and work independently
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written interpersonal skills
  • Must be a great listener and possess a pleasant personality
  • Maintains a high level of accuracy on all assigned tasks and deadlines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
  • Proven knowledge of industry tools
