Job Description

Provides human resources consultation and support to a designated business unit to define and execute HR strategies that enable accomplishment of business objectives.

  • Partners with managers and oversee the maintenance of the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions according to HR objectives.
  • Conducts and analyzes exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data
  • Educates, coaches, and partners with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Provides HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.
  • Manages core HR processes across products (performance calibration, compensation cycle, promotions).Provides expertise and guidance on HR policies, labour laws, and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Acts as a change agent, driving organizational change, and effectively managing change initiatives to optimize employee productivity and acceptance.
  • Participates in employee relations activities, including conflict resolution and mediation, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies In Human Resources, Talent Management, And Employment Law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education :   Bachelor's degree, Human Resources, Labour Relations or Business Administration, CHRP designation / CPHR Designation completed or in progress
  • Experience : Over 5 years' experience in Human Resource environment
  • General knowledge of training and development
  • General knowledge of HRIS
  • General understanding of organizational design
  • General knowledge of compensation, pension and benefits and occupational health and safety
  • Adherence to the highest ethical standards, demonstrating accountability, integrity and transparency in actions at all times.
  • Motivated team player with a demonstrated passion for exceptional customer service, building partnerships and sustaining cooperative working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Previous experience using Human Resources Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems would be an asset.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive, confidential information and documentation with discretion and tact.
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
  • Candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel. PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  • Presentation and facilitation skills required to speak and deliver training programs to a crowd.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
  • Ability to work well with others & independently.
  • Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
  • Travel to other SGS locations or client locations may be required from time to time.
