Do you want a full-time position , with the possibility of permanence? We have the position you need! Our client, located in Quebec City, is looking for a heavy vehicle parts clerk to join its day team.
Our client specializes in the sale and re-machining of steering parts such as steering boxes, power steering pumps and hoses, steering racks and cylinders and hydraulic parts.
The Auto Parts Counter Attendant works in a fast-paced environment that involves constant interaction with customers, in person and on the telephone, as well as the use of a computer system.

Primary duties and responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate a consistent commitment to meeting the customer’s needs;
- Direct and guide customers to the location of requested items;
- Respond quickly to requests for information and
- Customer concerns, by phone or in person;
- Handle delicate situations with professionalism;
- Be informed of in-store promotions, auto center specials and item locations;
- Find and order automotive parts for customers from authorized suppliers;
- Follow the procedures regarding ordering and selling parts to the customer and at the truck center counter;
- Process returns, warranties and returns, as necessary;
- Check batteries, starters and alternators.
- Take care of filling the batteries according to the training received;
- Fill the shelves and displays using modules and diagrams of
- presentation;
- Ensure inventory accuracy and monitor and report low inventory levels (e.g., checking empty locations and analyzing display capacities);
- Use computers and RF readers and enter all relevant codes into the systems.

- Knowledge of computer systems (basic to intermediate level);
