Our client offers subcontracting services in mechanics and welding, and also specializes in maintenance, repair, installation and replacement of production equipment on site.

The company has three manufacturing and repair shops offering a full range of industrial processes.

Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Director, the Chief Accountant for Transactional Services is responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable transactions team. More specifically, he or she will :

Set priorities and ensure that tasks are completed within the expected time frame, and measure results and follow up

Perform end-of-month analyses and participate in the reconciliation of year-end reports

Prepare monthly and weekly management reports for management (cash collection report and department performance indicators)

Supervise the performance of corporate and compliance activities (taxes, deposits, provisionals, tax returns, etc.)

Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of transactional processes

Establish and maintain a relationship with operations and payroll managers to ensure that quality inputs are obtained for the production of financial statements and control of cash management

Make improvements to the period-end process and ensure compliance with the financial statement release schedule

Participate in the production of financial analyses and dashboards (tools), the budget process and the establishment of cost prices

Participate in the year-end process and collaborate in the preparation of the year-end audit

Act as a resource person for his / her team and managers of department

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 1 year of experience or DEC in accounting with 5 to 7 years of experience

In-depth mastery of accounting principles

Good leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members

Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems effectively

Good command of accounting software and computer tools

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
