Job Title : Senior Business Consultant

Contract Duration : 12 Months

Work Type : Onsite

Location : Edmonton, AB

About the Role :

As a Senior Business Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and improving business operations. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and implement change.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the organization's goals.
  • Project Management : Manage projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Business Analysis : Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Change Management : Develop and implement change management plans to minimize disruption.
  • Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis and return on investment (ROI) calculations.
  • Report Writing : Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.

Required Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Business Analysis : Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable solutions.
  • Project Management : Experience in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Stakeholder Management : Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis : Understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyze financial data.

  • Industry Certifications : Certifications in project management, business analysis, or related fields.
  • Experience with Government Organizations : Experience working in government or public sector organizations.
  • Digital Transformation : Experience with digital transformation initiatives.
