Overview

We are looking to hire a full-time Senior Manager to join the CRC National Management team. This role may require travel and work from India. The CRC Senior Manager will assist audit business units and the CRC Champions network D&A Center monthly reporting and budget modelling, providing direct support and guidance to offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on their audits.
What You Will Do
- Operations : Oversee day-to-day operations of the CRC D&A Center of Excellence in collaboration with the CRC national management team and the CDST team; provide direct support to audit engagement teams to leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on engagements; assist in overseeing the Quality (QMCI) team in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and overseeing implementation of solutions to ensure high audit quality and deliverables; prepare training materials, how-to guides, monthly / quarterly newsletters, and other guidance documents for the internal CRC portal; leverage firm processes and programs to actively support the business.
- Data & Analytics : Identify potential new services, offerings, and tools to enhance the experience of audit engagement teams using the CRC; perform annual budgeting, forecasting, and hours / FTE modelling using data analytic programs; participate in business development by identifying opportunities and assisting with proposals; collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure licensing and access controls for security groups; review and approve requests for access to standard software and technology tools used by offshore delivery team members (e.g., Visio Pro, Alteryx, PowerBI).
- Other : Act as a performance manager to junior team members; willing to travel internationally and obtain requisite visas / work permits for India; may create, interpret, and apply policies, practices, laws, and regulations; accommodate overlap with offshore management to ensure smooth operational oversight.
What You Bring To The Role
Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.8+ years of experience in a public practice accounting firm, with at least 5 years in a management role.Senior manager or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada.Minimum 5 years auditing and team management experience.Diploma or bachelor’s in computer science, Database Management, or Programming (or equivalent experience).Proficiency with databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle) is an asset.Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerApps / Power Automate).Proficiency with ServiceNow is an asset.Resourcefulness, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects.Strong technical audit skills, time management, and organizational abilities; experience with data extraction tools.Bi-lingual in French and English is an asset; strong written and verbal English communication is required.Experience facilitating Audit Foundations courses (or similar) is an asset.Comfortable working in virtual and in-person environments; advanced MS Office and Adobe skills (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms, MS Teams, Outlook).Willingness to adapt hours to overlap with offshore teams.Note : This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will support KPMG employees nationally and communicate with English-speaking colleagues, and will create documentation and guidance in English.
Pay and Benefits
The KPMG BC Region pay range information : The expected base salary range for this position is $86,000 to $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. Base salary is determined by location, skills, competencies, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
