SUMMARY

The Fire Life Safety BAS Specialist will report to the Site CBM or designated Manager. Among other things they will be responsible for completing code compliance inspections and assessing the risks reporting on them and proposing possible solutions on topics related to fire prevention compliance with the NFC NFPA and other codes in force.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis and Reporting

• Inspects the clients premises and ensures compliance with the laws and regulations and analyzes and creates an action plan to resolves any issues related Fire Life safety compliance requirements such as Emergency lighting; Fire extinguishers; Fire doors / separations and Fire Alarm systems.
• Inspects Fire Alarm systems and components as required by provincial code for Annual & Monthly compliance and completes required repairs as required.
• Analyzes the causes of fire alarms and trouble calls follows up and provide solutions. Validates that changes are acceptable with the concerned parties.
